October and November see the heaviest rainfall, although temperatures still average between 27C and 29C, with 6 hours of sunshine a day.

About this place you should know that if you are visiting Cayo Coco with family, then you will have to avoid the Melia resort. Access and stay to the resort are provided only to those who are 18+. This might be a strange turnoff for many customers who might be visiting the Cayo Coco. You are also going to spend lots of time traveling to this peculiar resort because it is approximately 20kms away from the international airport. Most of the luxury hotels and resorts are known to fall within a 10 to 20 minute drive, but it will take some time to reach the premises of the Melia resort.
